Stress Free Scheduling

Our busy season is in full swing, and since most of us don't think about swimming lessons till its warm outside, planning your schedule may feel a bit overwhelming! So I've got 5 tips to help every one out!

  1. Mark your calendar for the 15th of every month. At 8 am our schedules go live for booking on our website. I’m warning you now, this time of year is when we fill up in a matter of hours.

  2. Be prepared, you’ve marked your calendar but I would also have your lesson credits already purchased before the 15th. That way all you have to do is log in and start snagging time slots. Extra steps can cost you that dreamy 10 am time slot.

  3. We preach that consistency is key to seeing progress in our program. So book more lessons than you think you may need. What I mean by that is start with 3-5 lessons a week for a month of two, we don’t want to see you less than twice a week until you are completely satisfied with where your child’s skills are at. When you book 3-5 lessons a week during busy season its so much easier to take away lessons then trying to find slots because your instructor recommended bumping it up.

  4. If you're currently coming to lessons, chat with your instructor about a summer game plan. They are the ones that personally know your child and where they are currently with their skills so ask them how often you should be booking lessons for the best results!

  5. Have a back up plan! This one is not so fun to hear but there is a possibility that your favorite instructor won’t be available. It’s better to have a couple options that way you NEVER just stop lessons cold turkey. We also think it's wise to switch it up every now and then that way children don’t get too attached to one person. I had a client that only would float with me in the pool, and thats not truly safe. We had to switch up instructors so they knew no matter who, what, when, where, or why, they had to

float and use those safety skills we worked so hard on!
